The AI Community of Practice November ShareTime features a preview of the pending UMN AI Gateway. We will start with a short presentation from AI Gateway Team Member Bradley Kauffman, who will discuss how:

“The AI Gateway provides a supported, secure, one-stop point for the University community to access leading AI models. The AI Gateway Virtual Team will share a brief status update and demonstration of how we’re evolving the platform from a working pilot into a sustainable University service through improved onboarding, support, documentation, monitoring, cost visibility, governance, and operational readiness."
 

After the presentation, AICOP hopes to facilitate a conversation amongst our expert and novice guests in which we can build our capacity. We will surface questions through questions like: 

• What type of work and projects can take advantage of an AI gateway?

• Who else should know about the AI Gateway?

• What organizations can assist with planning?

• What skills do we need to develop to make use of these new models?

This meeting will be recorded and shared with the AICOP Community.
