This course is a guide for University of Minnesota instructors to navigate the transformative role of Generative AI in education, regardless of whether you plan to embrace these tools or simply wish to better understand their impact on instruction. Through a series of focused lessons, you will develop essential AI literacy by moving from foundational concepts to a critical understanding of ethical considerations—including bias, data privacy, and academic integrity—to hands-on proficiency with UMN-approved Generative AI tools.
