Bridging Pedagogy and Innovation: Launching GenAI + U for Instructors
A new foundational course helps University of Minnesota educators navigate AI literacy, classroom ethics, and practical tool integration.
Empowering Instructors in the Age of AI
Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how students learn, write, and engage with course material. To support faculty and instructors across the five-campus system, The AI Hub has launched GenAI + U for Instructors, a targeted curriculum designed to transform AI uncertainty into pedagogical confidence.
Moving beyond basic technical jargon, this program offers a guided framework to help educators evaluate generative tools through a critical, ethics-first lens. Instructors explore how to adapt their syllabi, redesign assessments to discourage academic dishonesty, and leverage AI to streamline administrative course prep.
Core Learning Modules & Ethical Frameworks
Participants in the program move through a series of focused lessons designed to build both theoretical understanding and hands-on skill.
